![]() ![]() Is this true? Also, I've already been round and round with people on the internet who claim that lossless archival for noisy formats like VHS is pointless. ![]() In my searching around, it seems that DaVinci Resolve only supports lossy codecs. The thing is that I am working with lossless, unencoded source material and I want to also export the final product in a lossless format as well (for archival/preservation). After all that's complete, I export the finished result. All subsequent captures are where I attempt to fix tracking issues and then patch those segments into the baseline. The idea is to capture a tape multiple times, the first capture being the baseline version. ![]() My project involves cleaning up tracking artifacts from VHS captures. Before I attempt to tackle the learning curve of DaVinci Resolve (heck, there may not even be one at all), I would like to know if it supports exporting lossless video. ![]()
